Intermediate Swim Lessons
Location: Splash Dayz Water Park – Wave Pool
Schedule: Wednesday–Friday
Cost: $120 per session (includes 8 classes)
Class Size: Maximum of 12 participants

Class Focus
This intermediate-level class builds on foundational swim skills while reinforcing water safety and confidence. Participants will:
- Practice water safety and safe water entry
- Strengthen swim skills and proper techniques
- Swim independently using freestyle techniques
- Improve floating and treading abilities
- Coordinate arm and leg movements
- Perform body rolls in the water

The Learn to Swim program follows the nationally recognized American Red Cross Water Safety Program. Each level has specific skill goals, and children progress at their own pace before advancing.

Arrival Time
Participants must arrive at least 5 minutes early and be swim-ready before class begins. Swim Ready is:

- Sunscreen applied and fully dried
- Restroom use completed
- Remaining out of the water until the instructor is ready

Please bring:
- Towel
- Goggles (optional)
- Sunscreen
Observing the Class
Parents are welcome to observe from outside the pool area. Direct involvement during lessons can be distracting for participants.
If an instructor requests assistance, only one family member may join.

Rules & Safety Guidelines
All Splash Dayz rules apply during swim lessons, including but not limited to:
- No running
- No food or drinks in the pool
- No smoking/vaping
- Children may not enter the pool without WSI supervision
- Enter only from the shallow end at the front of the wave pool
- No jumping or diving from the deck ( unless instructor says otherwise)
- No animals or pets in the waterpark
- Family members and guests are not permitted to swim or play in the pool or splash area during swim lessons. Lifeguards on duty are focused on supervising the lessons. Observing a class does not grant permission to enter the water.
